Imported from South Africa
Synonyms
- Aluminum Chlorohydrate
- Aluminum Chloride Hydroxide
Description:
- ACH is part of the Polyaluminium Chloride (PAC) family. It is the highest concentration of PAC and offers the maximum alumina and basicity available in a stable solution form.
- Is an inorganic macromolecular compound as white powder but is also easy to dissolve in water.
- ACH Solution (ACH50 Grade) is a highly polymerised solution of Polyaluminium Hydroxychloride.
Packaging:
At this stage, the product is imported and only available as a liquid in 1 000 li IBC containers (caged, plastic containers which require fork lift truck handling).

More Information
Uses:
- Water Treatment: as a primary coagulant agent in potable water production. Replaces the need for other coagulants such as Alum. In many cases, its use eliminates or greatly reduces the need for PH adjustment chemicals, coagulant and filter aids. ACH also provides more efficient removal of turbidity, colour, total organic carbon, sludge reduction, lower overall treatment costs.
- Urban Sewage and industrial wastewater treatment: to clean up total suspended solids, remove heavy metals, phosphate and oils, reduce sludge and act as a decolouring agent
- A flocculant, coagulator and flame retardant
- Papermaking Industry: as a glue precipitator, anionic waste removal agent, retention aid, filter aid.
- Cosmetic Industry: pharmaceuticals and antiperspirants.
- Operates in a wider PH range than Alum.
